Job Description:
Public Storage, the largest owner and operator of self-storage facilities in the world, is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team in Plano, TX. This role will provide comprehensive support to our executive team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office.
Responsibilities:
- Manage calendars, travel arrangements, and expense reports
- Answer and route phone calls
- Produce, modify, and distribute various documents
- Schedule and confirm meetings
- Handle high-priority inquiries and delegate assignments
- Represent the organization in meetings and events
- Develop and implement strategic plans
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and policies
- Coordinate with stakeholders
- Prepare and deliver reports and presentations
- Create and maintain cross-departmental relationships
- Optimize processes
- Draft emails, reports, memos, speeches, and presentations
- Support strategic planning and project management initiatives
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of administrative experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables
- Experience preparing presentation decks
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Proficient in research and problem-solving
- Knowledge of phone and email etiquette
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail
