Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Technician – Pump Repairman to join our team in Revelstoke, BC. In this role, you will be responsible for the preventative and corrective maintenance of a diverse fleet of heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain standby diesel generators and switch gear
  • Install and maintain industrial components (dampers, gates, fans, bearings, motors, pumps, manlifts, etc.)
  • Operate and maintain gas testing equipment
  • Issue Confined Space Entry Permits
  • Provide isolation, lockouts, clearances, and safe work permits
  • Assist in the development of energy control procedures and safe work practices
  • Operate in accordance with safety procedures and regulations

Requirements

Additional Information

  • Pre-employment medical required (physical, vision, hearing, alcohol, and drug audit assessment)
  • Background investigation required (criminal history, references, driver’s license verification)
