Job Title: Deputy Manager – Transportation
Salary: ₹750,000 – ₹1,000,000 per annum
Job Description:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Deputy Manager – Transportation to join our team in Khordha, India. The candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s transportation operations, including fleet management, logistics, and supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement transportation strategies and policies.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the transportation department.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies.
- Monitor and analyze transportation performance metrics.
- Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Manage and develop a team of transportation professionals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- 8-12 years of experience in transportation management.
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- MBA degree
- Experience in the beverage industry
- Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems
