About the Role:
The Senior Manager, Policies and Procedures will lead Discover’s Enterprise Policy and Procedures Program and team, ensuring the effective governance of policies and procedures across the enterprise. This role will also serve as the product owner for the policy and procedure module(s) and systems in the Company’s GRC platform.
Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the Enterprise Policy and Procedures Program
- Serve as Product Owner for policy and procedure modules within the GRC tool
- Recruit, train, and lead team members
- Partner with senior stakeholders across the enterprise
- Develop, maintain, and present reporting on the program’s health and effectiveness
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 8+ years of experience in compliance, policy governance, technical writing, or GRC
- Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills
- Knowledge of building performance and risk reporting and/or dashboards
Bonus Points:
- Master’s or JD degree
- 10+ years of experience
- JD, PMP, CISA, CRISC, CAMS etc.
