Job Overview
Dubai Fertility Center is seeking a highly skilled Senior Embryologist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical embryology, extensive experience in a fertility laboratory setting, and a passion for providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Laboratory Operations:
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the embryology laboratory.
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety policies, IVF lab procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and quality control measures.
- Prepare and present laboratory statistics, audits, research, and risk management reports.
- Clinical Embryology:
- Perform and execute various clinical embryology procedures, including embryo transfers, egg fertilization, egg retrieval, ICSI, AH, and sperm preparation.
- Communicate treatment progress to patients and families, including oocyte fertilization results and embryo transfer timing.
- Collaborate with the Consultant Embryology team to provide patient discussions and advice.
- Ensure compliance with UAE Fertilization Law and proper documentation of embryo and sperm disposal.
- Participate in quality control and improvement programs.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Scientific Advancement:
- Attend scientific workshops and conferences to stay updated on the latest advancements in embryology.
- Participate in the publication of scientific papers and abstracts.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Applied Science, Biology, or Medical Science with an emphasis in Human Embryology from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 7-8 years of experience in the field of embryology.
- Valid DHA license to practice as an embryologist.
- BLS certification.
