Munich RE (Münchener Rück) is seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to join our IAM & Security Platforms team in Munich. As a key player in our dynamic and growing Identity and Access Management (IAM) division, you will lead projects that are critical to the security and success of our global organization.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage the full project lifecycle, from scope definition and resource allocation to delivery and stakeholder engagement.
  • Utilize both agile and traditional methodologies to navigate our complex and fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate closely with a talented team of Business Analysts, Developers, Testers, Architects, and Operations specialists.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, while adhering to Munich Re’s high standards.
  • Be the primary point of contact for the IAM team and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization.

What You’ll Need:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Several years of proven experience in IT project management, with a focus on IAM or IT Security.
  • Hands-on experience with agile software development and tools like Azure DevOps.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
  • A collaborative and proactive approach, with the ability to work effectively in a global and multicultural environment.
  • Fluency in both English and German.
