The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) is seeking talented data scientists to join their Emerging Leaders in Data Science Fellowship program. This one-year fellowship, renewable for a second year, offers a unique opportunity to apply your data science expertise to advance NIAID’s mission of studying infectious diseases and immune-mediated disorders.
What You’ll Do
As a fellow, you will participate in various data science projects, collaborating with NIAID’s Office of Data Science and Emerging Technologies (ODSET) and other intramural and extramural divisions. You will receive training and hands-on experience in:
- Data analytics
- Informatics strategies
- Computational platforms
- Software development
Who Can Apply
To be eligible for this fellowship, you must be a U.S. citizen with a master’s or doctoral degree earned within the past five years (or anticipated before the appointment date) in a relevant field such as:
- Computer science
- Engineering
- Physical sciences
- Life, health, or medical sciences
