M&T Bank is seeking a Principal Specialist – Technology and Cybersecurity Risk to join their team. This is a remote-eligible position, so you can work from anywhere in the United States. The pay range for this role is $136,787.30 – $227,978.83 per year.
What You’ll Do
As a Principal Specialist, you will be responsible for leading risk analysis for the most complex initiatives, influencing and designing the overarching risk framework, and providing expert guidance to senior leadership. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic risk framework that ensures comprehensive coverage of all technology capabilities.
Who You Are
- You have a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 9 years of relevant work experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 13 years of higher education and/or work experience.
- You have a demonstrated expert knowledge of Technology and Cybersecurity risk principles.
- You have a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in and/or with the specific risk area and/or business unit.
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- You have the ability to effectively convey messages to technical and business leaders.
- You have experience partnering with leadership to design solutions aligned with business needs.
- You have the ability to strategically seek critical information and apply it across a broad array of processes.
- You have prior experience prioritizing across competing priorities and a quickly changing landscape.
- You have experience effectively influencing senior leaders.
- You have excellent mentoring and leadership capabilities.
