Job Responsibilities:
As an Accounting Manager – Internal Audit, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of Marriott’s financial records. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising internal controls: Overseeing the implementation and effectiveness of internal controls across Marriott’s hotels in Mexico.
- Conducting audits: Planning and executing audits to assess financial compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Training and development: Providing training and support to hotel staff on internal audit procedures and best practices.
- Financial analysis: Analyzing financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Reporting: Preparing and submitting accurate and timely financial reports.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
