About UNAMI:

The Role:

As the Chief of Unit, Human Resources Management, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR leadership and guidance to the Kuwait Joint Support Office (KJSO). You will oversee all aspects of HR operations, ensuring that they align with UNAMI’s mission and objectives.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement HR strategies that support the KJSO’s goals and objectives.
  • Talent Management: Oversee recruitment, selection, and development of staff, ensuring that we have the right people in place to achieve our mission.
  • Performance Management: Implement and monitor performance appraisal systems to ensure staff are performing at their best.
  • Employee Relations: Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, addressing employee concerns and promoting staff well-being.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant UN rules, regulations, and policies.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced university degree in human resources management, business administration, or a related field.

  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
