Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing tenders, drafting technical procedures, method statements, and calculations.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations for diving, ROV, and survey operations.
- Control costs and budgets by optimizing operations and activities.
- Follow projects in engineering and construction fields, collaborating with other departments and conducting assessments.
- Prepare technical documentation, such as storyboards, method statements, and calculations.
- Review equipment specifications and monitor pricing and costs.
- Attend project meetings and prepare reports for MWS inspections and client projects.
- Ensure project execution is within budget, schedule, and scope.
- Work on multi-discipline projects and monitor fieldwork activities.
- Coordinate with estimation and commercial teams.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, practices, and standards.
- Support planning teams in developing project plans.
- Prepare construction budgets and perform other job-related duties.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in Project Engineering (detailed phase) from leading EPCIC companies.
- 3 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
- GCC or Europe experience preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and other engineering software.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, structural, and SURF engineering.
- Proficiency in FEA modeling and OrcaFlex software.
- Understanding of diving equipment, operations, and ROVs.
- Knowledge of health, safety, security, and environmental regulations.
- Understanding of Quality Management Systems.
- Valid Qatar driving license.
- Understanding of project management practices.
- Pleasant personality, good interpersonal and communication skills.
