About the Role:
As a Hydrogen Specialist, you will play a key role in driving Aramco’s hydrogen initiatives. You will provide technical expertise, support operations, and contribute to new business ventures related to hydrogen production and utilization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Provide technical guidance for operating plants, troubleshoot issues, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Project Leadership: Lead and contribute to hydrogen-related projects, including technology selection, evaluation, and execution.
- Innovation: Explore new technologies and methods for low-carbon hydrogen production and CO2 emission reduction.
- Technical Expertise: Develop and maintain Saudi Aramco’s internal capabilities in hydrogen production and utilization.
- Mentorship: Guide and develop young Saudi Arab engineers to become future specialists.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
- 15+ years of process engineering experience in the hydrocarbon or chemical industries.
- At least 8-10 years of experience in hydrogen production and purification technologies.
- Experience in operations or commissioning of a hydrogen production unit.
- Strong design experience and proficiency in process simulation software.
