We are seeking a talented and passionate WordPress Developer to join our growing team. As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites for our clients. This is a remote position, but candidates must be based in the USA.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain WordPress websites from initial concept to launch, ensuring they are responsive, user-friendly, and optimized for performance.
  • Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins or develop custom solutions to meet specific client requirements.
  • Utilize HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create visually appealing and functional website interfaces.
  • Implement WordPress functionalities using PHP and MySQL, ensuring seamless integration with various plugins and APIs.
  • Troubleshoot website issues, perform regular maintenance tasks, and ensure website security.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, provide updates on project progress, and address any concerns.
  • Integrate e-commerce solutions such as WooCommerce into WordPress websites, enabling online sales and payment processing.
  • Implement on-page SEO best practices to improve website visibility and search engine rankings.
  • Optimize website speed and performance to enhance user experience and search engine rankings.
  • Keep abreast of the latest WordPress trends, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
  • Proficiency in WordPress development, including theme and plugin development, customization, and maintenance.
  • Strong front-end development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Solid back-end development skills (PHP, MySQL).
  • Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Understanding of website security best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with e-commerce integration (WooCommerce).
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
