Staff Product Designer – Elevate Labs

The Role:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Staff Product Designer to join our world-class design team. You will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our mental fitness tools, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create stunning, user-centered experiences that drive engagement and impact.

Responsibilities:

• Lead complex design projects: Independently design and deliver visually appealing and intuitive mobile experiences that align with our brand identity and user needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with product managers, engineers, content strategists, and other stakeholders to define product requirements, brainstorm solutions, and ensure alignment throughout the design process.
• Foster a culture of design excellence: Mentor and guide junior designers, provide constructive feedback, and share your expertise to elevate the overall design team.
• Champion user-centered design: Empathize with users, conduct user research, and incorporate user feedback into design decisions.
• Communicate effectively: Clearly articulate design decisions, present design work to stakeholders, and advocate for user experience.
• Stay up-to-date with design trends and technologies: Continuously learn and apply new design techniques, tools, and best practices. 

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in mobile product design: Proven track record of designing and delivering successful mobile applications.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional UX and UI design skills: Showcase your ability to create visually appealing, intuitive, and user-centered interfaces.
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles: Ability to empathize with users, conduct user research, and translate insights into design solutions.
• Proficiency in Figma: Mastery of Figma for wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills: Ability to articulate design decisions, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and give and receive constructive feedback.
• Self-motivated and proactive: Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive projects to completion.
• Passion for mental health and well-being: A strong interest in the mission of Elevate Labs and a desire to create products that positively impact people’s lives.

Bonus:

• Experience building or working with meditation, educational, or puzzle-based experiences.
• Experience working in a fully remote work environment with teammates operating across various time zones.
• Experience with motion design and animation using tools such as After Effects or Rive.
