We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Staff Product Designer to join our dynamic team and drive the design strategy for key crypto features and products.
In this role, you will tackle complex challenges within the rapidly evolving crypto landscape, including simplifying decentralized systems, building user trust in new financial paradigms, and making crypto truly accessible to a diverse audience. This is an exceptional opportunity to leverage your expertise in user-centered design to empower individuals to interact with and understand crypto in intuitive and meaningful ways.
As a Staff Product Designer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and research, to define how people engage with crypto. You will own the end-to-end design process, from initial research and ideation through prototyping and final delivery, ensuring seamless and impactful user experiences. You will also have the opportunity to mentor and inspire other designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design culture.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design vision and execution for significant crypto features and experiences, maintaining a high standard of design excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and simplify complex crypto interactions for a broad user base.
- Champion inclusive design principles to create accessible, equitable, and user-friendly experiences for all backgrounds.
- Take ownership of the complete design lifecycle, including user research, ideation, prototyping, and delivery of impactful designs.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to fellow designers, promoting collaboration, growth, and innovation within the team.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in designing complex, user-focused products at scale, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to simplify intricate workflows.
- A strong eagerness to learn and understand the cryptocurrency space (deep crypto knowledge is not a prerequisite).
- A demonstrated commitment to inclusive design thinking and creating accessible experiences for diverse user groups.
- Excellent systems thinking skills with the ability to balance both micro and macro design perspectives to create cohesive and scalable design systems.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, product, and research teams to bring design concepts to fruition.
