Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Shopify Full Stack Developer to join our team. This remote, full-time position demands a developer capable of transcending basic theme adjustments to create and optimize sophisticated Shopify stores. You will be responsible for developing custom applications, integrating APIs, enhancing checkout processes, and optimizing performance to deliver unparalleled user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy custom Shopify applications and features using Liquid, JavaScript, Node.js, and Shopify APIs (REST/GraphQL).
- Optimize and enhance Shopify checkout and cart functionalities to maximize conversion rates.
- Implement and maintain seamless API integrations with third-party tools, CRM systems, payment gateways, and analytics platforms.
- Conduct comprehensive performance optimization, focusing on Core Web Vitals, site speed, and mobile responsiveness.
- Design and develop custom Shopify storefronts using Liquid, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue.js, Alpine.js).
- Proactively troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks, store errors, and integration challenges.
- Collaborate effectively with design, marketing, and operations teams to align development efforts with business objectives.
- Provide detailed portfolio insights, showcasing custom Shopify development projects and differentiating custom work from pre-built solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in advanced Shopify development, including expert-level proficiency in Liquid, JavaScript, and Shopify’s API (REST & GraphQL).
- Proven ability to develop custom Shopify applications using Node.js, Python, or Ruby on Rails.
- Strong understanding of API integration and automation, including experience with third-party APIs, webhooks, and Shopify Flow.
- Deep expertise in performance optimization, including Core Web Vitals, site speed improvements, and SEO best practices.
- Advanced proficiency in front-end development using React, Vue.js, or Alpine.js.
- Demonstrated experience in customizing Shopify checkout and cart experiences, including Shopify Scripts and Checkout Extensibility.
Portfolio Requirement:
- Candidates must provide a detailed portfolio showcasing their Shopify development projects, including:
