We’re seeking a passionate Senior iOS Developer to join our remote engineering team and play a key role in developing and enhancing our document SDKs for Apple platforms.
About the Role:
As a Senior iOS Developer at Nutrient, you will own the implementation of new features and improvements to our document SDKs, from initial design to final launch. You’ll be part of a small, highly motivated team focused on integrating cutting-edge AI features and modernizing core UI components. This role offers the opportunity to work with both established Objective-C code and the latest Swift and SwiftUI technologies. You will design and evolve public APIs used by hundreds of apps and UIs used by millions, ensuring readable, well-documented code with comprehensive testing. You’ll also contribute to API documentation, guides, technical blog posts, and provide direct customer support, helping integrate our products and understand their evolving needs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance iOS SDKs, focusing on new features and improvements.
- Utilize SwiftUI and modern Swift features, including concurrency, while also maintaining existing Objective-C code.
- Design and refine public APIs and user interfaces.
- Write clean, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code.
- Create and maintain API documentation, guides, and technical blog posts.
- Provide direct technical support to customers, assisting with integration and troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
- Deep understanding of iOS development tools, languages, and APIs (Xcode, UIKit, etc.).
- Proficiency in both Objective-C and modern Swift/SwiftUI.
- Passion for iOS best practices and familiarity with broader technologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for a distributed team environment.
- Strong written English skills for documentation, support, and content creation.
- A proactive, accountable, and self-directed work style.
- Experience with API design and framework/library development is highly desirable.
