The Opportunity: Senior Full Stack Engineer (Client Solutions & Applied AI)

GrowthX is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our remote team. This unique role focuses on developing and implementing technical solutions for client operations, leveraging your full-stack expertise and a passion for applied AI. You will work closely with internal teams to translate client needs into robust and scalable applications, ranging from AI-powered workflows to comprehensive full-stack solutions. Additionally, you will contribute to our internal ecosystem by building tools for our marketing team and developing micro-applications on our AI infrastructure. This position offers a dynamic and engaging blend of external and internal development projects.

(This is a fully remote position requiring at least 4 hours of overlap with U.S. Pacific Time.)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom full-stack applications and AI-powered workflows based on client requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand client needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal tools and micro-applications leveraging our AI stack.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from conceptualization and architecture to implementation and deployment.
• Integrate and configure Large Language Models (LLMs) and other AI systems to power innovative solutions.
• Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of developed applications.
• Embrace and utilize AI tools like Cursor and Cline to enhance programming efficiency and quality.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in full-stack development and applied AI.

What You’ll Bring:

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Engineer.
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, with strong experience in React and TypeScript.
• Expertise in at least one backend language (Ruby on Rails preferred; Node.js and Python acceptable with willingness to learn Ruby on Rails).
• Experience with Tailwind CSS and Shadcn UI components (or a strong willingness to learn).
• Demonstrated comfort in integrating with and configuring LLMs and AI systems.
• Solid understanding of API design and integration patterns (RESTful, GraphQL).
• A proactive and ownership-oriented approach to work with minimal supervision.
• The ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and occasional tight deadlines.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• A strong aptitude for quickly adapting to new technologies and evolving requirements.
• A creative and pragmatic approach to problem-solving.

Bonus Points:

• Experience building Generative AI (Gen AI) or LLM-based products.
• Prior experience working in a startup environment, demonstrating flexibility and initiative.
