Close, a leading sales communication platform, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join our growing remote team. As a key contributor to our Engineering department, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge features for our CRM application used by thousands of businesses worldwide.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build impactful features: Conceptualize, design, and implement new user-facing features using React, TypeScript, and modern web technologies.
  • Enhance existing functionality: Refine and optimize existing code for performance, maintainability, and scalability.
  • Collaborate effectively: Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers in a cross-functional, agile environment.
  • Champion quality: Participate in code reviews, write comprehensive unit tests, and contribute to a culture of engineering excellence.
  • Embrace innovation: Explore and leverage new technologies like AI-powered LLMs (OpenAI, Groq, AssemblyAI) to enhance user experience and productivity.

What You’ll Need:

  • Extensive Frontend Expertise: 5+ years of experience building complex single-page applications with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with a minimum of 3 years of React expertise. (8+ years for Staff level)
  • Strong Technical Foundation: Deep understanding of web technologies, including HTTP, REST APIs, and GraphQL.
  • Performance Optimization: Proven ability to design, debug, and optimize frontend applications for speed and reliability.
  • Collaborative Mindset: Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fully distributed team environment.
  • Product-Oriented Approach: A passion for crafting exceptional user experiences with a keen eye for design.
  • US-Based: Must be located within the contiguous United States.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with real-time web applications (WebSockets, WebRTC).
  • Familiarity with design tools (Figma, Sketch).
  • Contributions to open-source projects.
  • Experience with B2B SaaS products and sales tools.
