About the Role:
The Senior Content Marketer is a key player in shaping and executing Float’s content strategy, driving engagement, demand, and brand affinity. This role involves owning the content calendar, leading SEO initiatives, and developing compelling content across various channels, including LinkedIn, live sessions, newsletters, and customer stories. Collaboration with product marketing on product-focused content and launch campaigns is also a key component. Responsibilities also include maintaining and optimizing existing content, performance measurement, and managing a content team member.
Responsibilities:
- Own and drive the content calendar, collaborating with brand, content, performance, and product marketing teams.
- Lead the always-on SEO program, including research, optimization, reporting, and vendor collaboration.
- Develop engaging content across various channels (LinkedIn, live sessions, newsletters, customer stories, etc.).
- Partner with product marketing to create product-focused content and support product launches.
- Maintain and improve content effectiveness, ensuring alignment with marketing objectives.
- Measure and report on content performance, using data to inform strategy and iteration.
- Manage and mentor a content team member.
- Maintain and update key content assets.
Qualifications:
- Extensive B2B content marketing experience, ideally within a SaaS scale-up environment.
- Proven ability to create high-impact content across multiple formats (written and video).
- Hands-on SEO experience, including research, optimization, and reporting.
- Deep understanding of content marketing trends and best practices.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-centric mindset and a passion for understanding customer needs.
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, or managing team members.
- Comfort with asynchronous communication and remote work tools (Slack, Loom, etc.).
