Bitovi, a leading software development and consulting company, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Angular Developer Consultant to join our fully remote team. We partner with companies to build exceptional software applications, and we’re passionate about delivering value to our clients, the tech community, and our team. This is a full-time, hourly contract position with the potential for a long-term partnership. Please note: This role is specifically for candidates located in South or Central America who can commit to a 6-hour overlap with Central Time (CT) business hours.
As a Senior Angular Developer Consultant at Bitovi, you will play a crucial role in developing high-quality, innovative web applications for our clients. You’ll collaborate with a talented team of developers, working on diverse projects that challenge and expand your skillset. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, contribute to open-source projects, and directly impact the success of our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain complex single-page applications using Angular (v12+ preferred).
- Implement state management patterns and libraries (NgRx experience is a plus).
- Build and deploy Ionic applications.
- Utilize TypeScript and RxJS effectively.
- Apply modern front-end development practices and tooling (e.g., NX, Angular Schematics).
- Conduct code reviews and address performance issues.
- Contribute to open-source projects within the Angular ecosystem.
- Consult with clients to understand their needs and provide technical guidance.
- Communicate project progress and updates to clients.
- Collaborate effectively within a remote team environment.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional experience developing single-page applications.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript.
- Extensive experience with modern Angular versions (12+ preferred).
- Experience building Ionic apps.
- Solid understanding of TypeScript and RxJS.
- 2+ years of experience with state management patterns and libraries (NgRx preferred).
- Strong background in modern front-end development principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of Computer Science concepts (CS degree or equivalent knowledge).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for continuous learning and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies.
- Comfortable working directly with clients.
- Located in South or Central America with availability to overlap 6 hours with CT business hours.
