About MPF Federal:

MPF Federal is seeking dedicated and experienced Remote Telehealth Triage Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our 24/7 Nurse Advice Line. This remote, work-from-home position offers a unique opportunity to provide vital support to military beneficiaries, including active-duty service members, veterans, and their families, through a call center environment.

Compensation:

• $35.00/hour (Differentials may apply for weekends, evenings, and nights)

Available Schedules:

• A variety of full-time schedules are available, including 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts, covering days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. (Specific schedules listed in original job description)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments via phone, chat, and video, utilizing evidence-based triage protocols.
• Provide immediate and appropriate self-care advice and escalate urgent cases as needed.
• Deliver patient education and counseling on medication use, medical conditions, and diagnostic procedures.
• Manage crisis situations, including mental health, behavioral health, and emergency triage calls, with empathy and precision.
• Accurately document all patient interactions within electronic health records (EHR).
• Collaborate with program and project managers, as well as call center management, to meet performance metrics and deadlines.
• Utilize provided technological resources to deliver optimal patient care in alignment with established protocols.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) with a completed microbiology course with lab.
• Active and unrestricted multi-state RN license (verified via Nursys).
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as an RN, preferably in Emergency or Urgent Care settings.
• Ability to adhere to a structured and regimented work schedule with minimal flexibility.
• Reliable hard wired internet connection.
• Dedicated distraction free work enviroment.
• Availability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• U.S. Citizenship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional experience in emergency care, triage, ICU, med-surg, or urgent care.
• Previous telehealth, triage, or call center experience.
• Proficiency in utilizing triage protocols.
• Experience working in a metrics-driven environment.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, EHR systems, and telehealth platforms.
• Military/Veteran healthcare experience.
• Experience in Behavioral Health, Crisis Intervention, or Substance Abuse Counseling.
