Wealthbox CRM, a leading provider of modern CRM software for financial advisors, is seeking a talented and driven Remote Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of our web and mobile CRM platform, empowering thousands of financial advisors to streamline client relationships and optimize workflows.
As a key member of our engineering team, you will collaborate closely with experienced engineers and customer support professionals to rapidly iterate on customer feedback and deliver impactful solutions. Your contributions will directly enhance user experience and efficiency, potentially saving customers significant time each week.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement new features and enhancements using Ruby on Rails and the Ruby programming language.
- Build and maintain user-facing functionalities with TypeScript and React.
- Engage in collaborative development and pair programming with fellow engineers.
- Participate in problem-solving, bug fixing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the creation of clear, maintainable, and well-tested code.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong desire to learn and master Ruby on Rails.
- Interest in emerging technologies, including AI and automation.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and experience with React is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with relational databases and Git version control.
- A strong understanding of UX and usability principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Must be a US based candidate.
- Must be able to work EST hours.
