AI Lead – Text-to-Speech & Natural Language Processing (Remote)

Speechify is revolutionizing how people consume information by transforming text into natural-sounding audio. We’re looking for a talented and passionate AI leader to join our growing team and push the boundaries of Text-to-Speech (TTS) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) technology.

In this role, you will:

• Lead a team of engineers in developing cutting-edge NLP and TTS solutions.
• Mentor and guide engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. 
• Conduct research and implement state-of-the-art AI techniques to create the best possible speech generation experience.
• Manage R&D projects, ensuring they meet deadlines and deliver impactful results.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in NLP and TTS, continuously improving your skills and guiding your team.

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience leading and motivating engineering teams.
• Strong background in NLP or TTS research and development.
• Experience with machine learning (ML) concepts and frameworks.
• A plus: Experience deploying NLP or TTS models for large-scale applications (10 million+ users).
• Familiarity with Python programming languages, particularly TensorFlow and PyTorch.
