Kuwait City, Kuwait – Jazeera Airways is searching for a highly motivated and experienced Planning Manager to join our team in Kuwait. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing maintenance and material planning activities, ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain procedures for maintenance and material planning processes.
- Supervise the implementation of detailed plans for aircraft and component maintenance.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance Providers, Logistics, and other departments.
- Lead technical policy to ensure safety and compliance with industry standards.
- Monitor and schedule maintenance tasks to ensure airworthiness.
- Evaluate Service Providers’ performance and manage contracts.
- Assess Materials and Maintenance Planning against Key Performance Indicators.
- Manage stock replenishment and review safety stock levels.
- Oversee long-term maintenance planning and make necessary adjustments.
- Manage Task Cards to meet airworthiness requirements.
Qualifications:
- Engineering degree in a relevant field or DGCA/EASA license.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, including 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Knowledge of QMS, SMS, AVSEC, HF, and engineering documentation systems.
- Strong technical knowledge of A320 aircraft and related engine types.
- Familiarity with airline application-based ERP systems.
- Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
