This 12-month contract role, based in Abu Dhabi, offers a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge Java-based solutions within a dynamic and innovative environment.
The Opportunity:
Presight AI is seeking a talented individual to design, create, and implement Java microservice applications and database programming. The ideal candidate will possess a specialist level of understanding and skill in developing a broad range of applications and proprietary solutions. You’ll be working on high-volume, low-latency applications, contributing to the development of solutions that power the region’s leading AI-driven analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot.
- Work with databases like Mongo, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Utilize Kafka and Elastic Search.
- Develop database schemas and implement automated testing.
- Manage code versioning with Git and understand microservice architecture.
- Implement design patterns for distributed systems.
- Work with Docker/Container clusters and hybrid cloud environments.
- Problem solving and debugging.
Qualifications:
- A degree in computer science, coding, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of Java-based programming experience.
- Strong coding skills in Java, with knowledge of other languages being a plus.
- Experience with current frameworks, SDKs, APIs, and libraries.
- Experience with Microservices.
