Crownpoint, NM – The Indian Health Service (IHS) is recruiting a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team at the Crownpoint Service Unit in Crownpoint, New Mexico. This position offers a competitive salary starting at $66,919 per year (GS-4) and the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of Native American communities.
The selected RN will be responsible for providing a full range of nursing care to patients in the Medical/Surgical and Pediatric Unit. This includes:
- Monitoring patient conditions and administering medications and treatments.
- Developing and implementing individualized nursing care plans.
- Evaluating and revising care plans based on patient needs and responses.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participating in quality improvement activities.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, applicants must possess:
- A current, unrestricted RN license in any U.S. state or territory.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- A strong commitment to providing patient-centered care in a culturally sensitive manner.
