Vedanta, a global diversified natural resources company, is seeking a Head of Treasury to join their Sterlite Copper unit in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement treasury strategy aligned with company goals.
- Evaluate and recommend financial strategies to optimize cash flow, commodity & Forex hedge.
- Ensure back-to-back hedging positions are secure.
- Negotiate banking terms and services.
- Liaise with banks and legal teams for documentation of credit facilities.
- Manage daily cash flows to ensure adequate liquidity.
- Participate in the development of the corporation’s plans and programs.
- Direct preparation of annual operating and business fiscal plans (budgets).
- Control investment and management of the Fund portfolio of the organization.
Qualifications:
- CA or MBA Finance with 10+ years of experience (preferably in Treasury function).
- Strong understanding of accounting, financial concepts, and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
