About the Role:
As the Lead Embedded Software Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and testing embedded software for IVHM products. These products are essential for aircraft health management, making this a critical position within GE Aerospace. Responsibilities include architecting software solutions, overseeing continuous integration and testing, problem-solving, and mentoring junior team members. Adherence to the stringent DO-178C aviation software standard is paramount.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in embedded software development.
- 1+ years of experience with DO-178C software development processes and certification.
- 1+ years of experience in C coding.
- U.S. Citizenship (required due to U.S. Government contracts).
Desired Skills:
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Project management proficiency.
- Experience with DO-178C DAL B.
