We’re searching for an experienced and motivated Infrastructure Senior Lead Specialist to join our dynamic IT team in Riyadh. As a key player in our organization, you’ll be responsible for the health, performance, and security of our database infrastructure.
What You’ll Do:
- Proactive Monitoring: Utilize advanced tools and techniques to monitor database health, performance, and capacity, identifying and addressing potential issues before they impact operations.
- Performance Optimization: Fine-tune database systems for optimal speed and efficiency, ensuring a seamless experience for our users.
- Security Focus: Implement and maintain robust security measures to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry best practices.
- Troubleshooting Expertise: Rapidly diagnose and resolve database incidents, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
- Collaboration and Innovation: Work closely with IT colleagues and business stakeholders to implement new technologies and optimize existing systems.
What You’ll Bring:
- 6-10 years of experience in database administration, with a strong focus on performance monitoring and optimization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Deep understanding of database technologies, including (but not limited to) Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL.
- Experience with database security protocols, disaster recovery planning, and performance tuning tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
