Allianz Global Investors is seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join their Enterprise Architecture team in Frankfurt or Munich. Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the information domain data, ensuring its availability, integrity, and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain data models, ETL processes, and reports in line with regulatory requirements (e.g., DORA).
- Manage data contracts with contributors and ensure seamless integration of federated data sources.
- Maintain and optimize applications and technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure Databricks, Azure Power BI, and Python scripts.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of practical experience in data engineering.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and terminology, particularly in the information domain.
- Strong understanding of Enterprise Architecture principles.
- Proficiency in data integration and ETL processes.
- Experience with Azure cloud technologies (Data Factory, SQL, Databricks, Power BI).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
