Philadelphia, PA – The National Constitution Center, a beacon of constitutional education nestled in the heart of historic Independence Mall, is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant, Strategy and Development to join its fundraising team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the Center’s nonpartisan mission of fostering understanding of the U.S. Constitution, with a starting salary range of $45,000 to $55,000.
A Foundation for Growth
This full-time, exempt position offers a comprehensive introduction to the world of nonprofit development and fundraising. The Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the Center’s efforts to cultivate and maintain relationships with individual, foundation, and corporate donors.
Key Responsibilities
The Assistant, Strategy and Development will be involved in a variety of essential tasks, including:
- Donor Cultivation and Communication: Conducting donor research, preparing briefings, drafting communications, and managing donor inquiries.
- Systems and Operations: Managing database entries, executing mailings, and ensuring data accuracy.
- Event Support: Assisting with donor events and tours.
