The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is seeking a Computer Scientist (Informatics) to join their team. This is a full-time, remote position with a salary range of $67,867.0 to $96,887.0 per year.
Responsibilities:
- Address data management and data analytics needs.
- Apply foundational Computer Science principles to improve data collection systems.
- Develop search tools for efficient retrieval.
- Map and link disparate data sources.
- Implement data reporting and data visualization applications.
- Assist other scientists in carrying out public health informatics assignments.
- Assist in the design of the execution of software testing and implementation plans.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Experience in data management and data analytics.
- Experience in software development and maintenance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
