Boeing is seeking a Senior Software Application Developer to join their Tapestry Solutions team. This is a virtual opportunity, so you can work from anywhere in the United States!
As a Senior Software Application Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of software solutions for Boeing’s Global Distribution Management System (GDMS). You will work closely with a team of engineers to develop and maintain software that meets the needs of Boeing’s customers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead development role directly involved in all phases of the software lifecycle from refining requirements to product delivery
- Perform full stack development including software design, coding & testing of new web-based applications
- Support integration and resolving operational issues across software components
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in web application architecture, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) or cloud-based development
- 5+ years of experience in web application development using React, Redux, TypeScript, Java, Spring Boot
- 3+ years of experience in web GIS mapping development
- Hands-on experience with relational database concepts and SQL, MSSQL and PostgreSQL preferred
- Experience with cross-platform development for web and mobile applications is a plus
- Experience in UI/UX design is a plus
- Working experience with RESTful API implementation, and microservices-based application development is a plus
- Experience with DevOps supporting continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) is a plus
- Experience working in an Agile Development Environment is a plus
