About the Role:

The Procurement Specialist will play a critical role in IFRAP’s success by managing the procurement process for project goods, works, and services. You’ll be responsible for ensuring compliance with World Bank procurement regulations, national procurement rules, and best practices. This includes tasks like:

  • Developing and implementing procurement plans.
  • Preparing and managing tender documents.
  • Evaluating bids and proposals.
  • Awarding contracts to qualified vendors.
  • Overseeing contract implementation and ensuring smooth delivery.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned procurement professional with a strong track record. To be considered, you’ll need to possess the following qualifications:

EducationMaster’s degree (16 years of education) in Engineering, Business, Economics, Finance, Social Sciences, or a relevant field. Procurement qualifications or certifications are a plus.
ExperienceTen (10) years of experience (after acquiring the stipulated qualification) in procurement and contract management.
Knowledge & SkillsExtensive knowledge of international and national procurement rules and regulations, along with the latest trends for efficient and effective procurement.
Language SkillsProficiency in English and basic IT skills are mandatory.
