Description:
The U.S. Election Assistance Commission Office of Inspector General (EAC OIG) is seeking an experienced Audit Director to join their team on a reimbursable detail opportunity. This position is open to current Inspector General community staff in Series 511 at the GS 13 or 14 levels (or equivalent).
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the EAC OIG’s audit and evaluations portfolio.
- Conduct, supervise, and coordinate audits and evaluations.
- Train, coach, and mentor junior OIG staff.
- Oversee contractor performance.
- Prepare and coordinate semiannual reports to Congress.
- Update audit and evaluation policies and procedures.
- Produce agile oversight products.
Qualifications:
- Current Inspector General community staff in Series 511 at the GS 13 or 14 levels (or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards and procedures.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
