CodeSignal, a leading skills-based hiring platform recognized by TIME as a World’s Top EdTech Company of 2024, seeks a highly motivated and experienced Senior Mobile Engineer to lead the development of our first mobile application. This is a unique opportunity to build a product from the ground up and shape the future of how candidates and companies interact with CodeSignal on mobile devices.
As a key member of our engineering team, you will:
- Architect, develop, and launch CodeSignal’s inaugural mobile application using React Native.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Design teams to define user needs and create an exceptional mobile experience.
- Design and implement a scalable, high-performing mobile app, integrating it seamlessly with existing CodeSignal systems.
- Own the entire mobile development lifecycle, from architecture and coding to testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Drive innovation by identifying opportunities to expand mobile functionality and optimize performance.
- Adhere to mobile security, accessibility, and user data privacy best practices.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in mobile application development (iOS, Android, or cross-platform).
- Expertise in React Native or similar cross-platform development frameworks.
- Proven track record of leading a mobile app development project from concept to launch.
- Strong understanding of mobile design patterns and performance optimization techniques.
- Proficiency with APIs and mobile testing frameworks.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for building user-centric products and solving complex technical challenges.
