Almabase, the leading alumni management software in the US (as recognized by G2Crowd), seeks a driven and experienced Senior Account Executive to join our growing team. Our mission is to make education more affordable by empowering universities and high schools to increase alumni giving. As a Senior Account Executive at Almabase, you will play a critical role in driving our continued success by closing new sales with educational institutions. You will manage marketing-qualified leads, guiding prospects through the sales process from initial contact to contract signing. This involves understanding their needs, demonstrating the value of Almabase, negotiating contracts, and ultimately handing off closed deals to our customer success team. While most sales activities are conducted remotely via Zoom, there will be opportunities to represent Almabase at conferences and engage with potential clients in person.

We’re looking for a results-oriented individual with a proven track record in B2B software sales, ideally within the non-profit or education sector. Experience closing deals in the $20k-$50k ARR range is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, a passion for building relationships, and the ability to quickly learn our product and market are essential. A fun, confident personality and a strong work ethic are also key to success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and qualify inbound leads, identifying prospect needs and aligning them with Almabase’s solutions.
  • Conduct product demos and present pricing proposals.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals, achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate records in our CRM (HubSpot).
  • Contribute to pipeline generation through conference attendance and partner collaboration.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team, solutions consultants, and other departments.
  • Provide feedback to the product team based on customer interactions.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of B2B software sales experience, preferably in the non-profit or education space.
  • Experience closing deals in the $20k-$50k ARR range.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies.
  • Experience with CRM software (HubSpot preferred).
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for building relationships.
