We’re looking for a driven and innovative Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our founding US-based team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our product and company. This is a remote position.
About the Role:
As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer at Dotsfty, you will own and scale mission-critical features across our entire software stack. You’ll push beyond industry best practices, pioneering new strategies that leverage LLMs and our 40+ person Philippines-based team to achieve company-defining results with exceptional speed and cost-effectiveness. You will report directly to our co-founder and COO, Evan Ehrenberg, and will be instrumental in the growth and management of our offshore team.
Responsibilities:
- Full-Stack Development Leadership: Architect and develop key features across the stack, from React/TypeScript frontend applications to backend Node.js services, ensuring scalability and maintainability for enterprise clients.
- AI/ML Integration: Design and implement innovative solutions using LLMs and AI to automate workflows, enhance product capabilities, and revolutionize our development processes.
- Technical Architecture & Scalability: Develop and maintain our AWS serverless architecture, ensuring reliability, performance, and security as we scale to service major customers.
- Product Engineering: Collaborate with founders to rapidly prototype, test, and iterate on new features, balancing speed and code quality.
- Offshore Team Leadership: Support the management of our Philippines-based team, establishing best practices for collaboration and maximizing efficiency.
- Process Innovation: Develop new approaches to software development by integrating LLMs, automation, and our offshore team for dramatic improvements in speed and cost.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across the company to identify technical solutions for business challenges.
- Technical Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems and processes.
Qualifications:
- Strong foundation in full-stack development using React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Experience with AWS serverless architecture.
- Proficiency in Python for ML/algorithmic implementations.
- Familiarity with modern development tools and practices (version control, CI/CD, testing).
- Demonstrated experience with LLM integration and prompt engineering.
- Experience working with distributed teams and strong project management skills.
- Proven ability to solve complex technical challenges and optimize development processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Growth mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years of full-stack development experience.
- Portfolio of projects demonstrating technical expertise.
- Experience with customer-facing roles or products.
- Knowledge of healthcare/finance/insurance technology.
