About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team. As an SDR, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying prospective business partners who can leverage our platform to connect with talented students. This is a remote position offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify, research, and qualify potential leads through various channels (databases, LinkedIn, online tools, etc.)
- Conduct effective outbound prospecting via email, phone, and social media to generate interest in ScholarshipOwl for Business.
- Articulate the value proposition of our platform to decision-makers and understand their specific needs.
- Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for the sales team with qualified leads.
- Maintain accurate records in our CRM system and meticulously track key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to refine lead generation strategies and optimize outreach efforts.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of proven success in an SDR or B2B sales role, preferably within the SaaS or EdTech industry.
- A consistent track record of exceeding sales quotas and generating qualified leads.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Strong understanding of the sales process and lead generation methodologies.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesmate) and lead generation tools (e.g., Apollo, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn).
- Highly self-motivated, results-driven, and possess excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Experience conducting professional video calls in a remote work environment.
