Funko, a leading pop culture consumer products company and purveyor of licensed-focused collectibles, seeks a talented and driven Senior Compensation Manager to join our dynamic People & Culture team.
About the Role
As a key member of the People & Culture team, the Senior Compensation Manager will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive compensation programs that attract, retain, and motivate top talent. This individual will serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor on all compensation-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and administration of compensation programs, including base salary, incentive plans (short-term and long-term), sales commissions, executive compensation, and equity awards.
- Conduct thorough market analysis and benchmarking to ensure competitive compensation practices.
- Design and maintain job evaluation systems and salary structures.
- Manage the annual compensation review cycle, ensuring a fair and equitable process.
- Provide expert guidance on compensation-related issues, including regulatory compliance, pay equity, and internal equity.
- Partner with HR leadership and business stakeholders to develop and implement compensation strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Analyze the effectiveness of existing compensation programs and recommend improvements.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive compensation documentation and policies.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 6+ years of progressive experience in compensation management.
- Deep understanding of compensation philosophies, methodologies, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and analyze data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation.
- Experience with HRIS systems, preferably Ultipro.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
