Navigating the Future: Autonomous Systems for A&D
The R&D Engineer II – Circuit Solver Team – Remote position at Ansys is a remote role that contributes to the development of software products and supporting systems for circuit simulation. The successful candidate will collaborate with a team of expert professionals to understand customer requirements and accomplish development objectives.
Responsibilities:
Performs development activities, including the design, implementation, maintenance, testing and documentation of software modules and sub-systems. Employs software development best practices, participating in technical reviews, mentoring, planning and architecture. Investigates problems discovered by QA or product support and develops solutions. Performs bug verification, release testing and beta support for assigned products. Researches and understands the marketing requirements for a product, including target environment, performance criteria and competitive issues. May work with strategic customers or proxies to assess needs and develop solutions. Works under the general supervision of a development manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 2 years’ experience or MS Working experience with technical software development proven by academic, research, or industry projects Strong background in Signal Integrity concepts and modeling
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical knowledge and experience with circuit device and interconnect modeling and simulation (SPICE, IBIS, Touchstone) Experience with Java, C++, Python Experience with UI frameworks (RCP) including Qt, Eclipse, or NetBeans Understanding of software configuration management practices Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to learn quickly and to collaborate with others in a geographically distributed team
