We’re seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Senior Director of Advertising Operations to lead our ad operations team and ensure seamless execution, optimization, and measurement of advertising campaigns across our platform.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Strategy:
- Partner with the VP of Sales to align ad operations with commercial goals and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Define and execute the strategic vision for ad operations, ensuring operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of ad operations specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Campaign Management:
- Collaborate closely with sales and account management teams to understand client objectives and ensure on-time campaign activation and delivery.
- Monitor campaign performance, identify and resolve issues, and ensure campaigns are optimized for maximum ROI.
- Work with supply and media planners to standardize campaign setups and ensure performance.
- Set up and participate in recurring sector meetings to gain insights into industry trends and client needs.
- Operational Excellence:
- Develop and implement scalable workflows and processes to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
- Troubleshoot campaign delivery issues and identify opportunities for improvement in ad serving and tracking.
- Define and measure performance metrics against business requirements, aligning improvement projects to bridge operational shortfalls and identify future opportunities.
- Test new features and provide feedback before release.
- Ensure consistency and alignment across all regional ad operations teams.
- Data & Analytics:
- Analyze campaign performance metrics and provide actionable insights to improve outcomes.
- Collaborate with TechOps, Supply, and other key stakeholders to refine reporting and measurement frameworks, focusing on ROI and performance.
- Innovation & Technology:
- Partner with technology teams to make buying, launching, serving, and optimizing campaigns more efficient and user-friendly.
- Capture future ad operations business needs as the business scales and translate them into a future state of support.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices, ensuring tvScientific remains an industry leader.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in ad operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in executing ad operations for programmatic advertising, CTV platforms, and attribution models.
- Deep analytical skills with experience leveraging data to drive decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
