Maharishi Foundation International (MFI), a non-profit organization promoting the Transcendental Meditation technique, is seeking an experienced Senior React Native Mobile Developer to join our growing team.
What You’ll Do:
- App Development: Maintain and enhance our existing meditation and lifestyle app, used by tens of thousands of people worldwide.
- Feature Development: Plan, design, and implement new features based on user needs and product roadmap.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, designers, and product managers in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Code Quality: Write clean, well-documented, and testable code, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and technical challenges.
What You’ll Need:
- 8+ years of experience in mobile app development, with a strong focus on React Native.
- Proficiency in native mobile technologies (Objective-C, Swift, Kotlin, or Java).
- Experience with Typescript, Node.js, GraphQL, and RESTful APIs.
- Solid understanding of code versioning tools (Git) and CI/CD pipelines (Bitrise).
- Experience with mobile app best practices, including Material Design and Human Interface Guidelines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with AWS serverless technologies (AppSync, DynamoDB, Lambda).
- Familiarity with animation libraries (Animated, Reanimated).
- Understanding of code signing processes (Fastlane).
