About the Role
Thomson Reuters is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive to join our Legal client segment. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our comprehensive suite of products and services to law firms within an assigned territory. Your primary focus will be on generating new sales revenue and achieving growth targets by prospecting new clients, managing existing customer relationships, and ensuring successful contract renewals.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect and identify new law firms interested in Thomson Reuters products and services.
- Develop and execute effective territory coverage plans.
- Create and maintain account plans to track progress and effectiveness.
- Generate sales growth by pursuing new prospects and following up on leads.
- Build and nurture relationships with existing customers to maximize retention.
- Provide accurate client and prospect data for our CRM system.
- Submit weekly and monthly reports on sales activity, market trends, and competitor information.
Qualifications:
- University degree in business or a related field, or equivalent business experience.
- Proven ability to develop new customer accounts through prospecting, cold calling, and closing deals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional organization and time management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
- Knowledge of the legal framework in Canada is an asset.
