About the Role:
As a Senior Java Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in the development and maintenance of our server-side infrastructure. You’ll collaborate with a talented team of engineers to enhance our API, core architecture, and development operations. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on a growing platform used by businesses worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement high-quality Java code for our backend systems.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of our API, infrastructure, and architecture.
- Participate in problem-solving and solution design within an agile development environment.
- Ensure the scalability, robustness, and maintainability of our codebase.
- Collaborate effectively with the engineering team to achieve project goals.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in a similar Java backend engineering role.
- Strong core Java skills (J2SE/J2EE, Spring).
- Proficiency in Git, Maven, REST, MySQL, Redis, and AWS services (Beanstalk, RDS, DynamoDB).
- Familiarity with libraries like Apache Commons, Apache HTTP Client, and java.time (JSR 310).
- Experience with Twilio APIs, Google APIs, and WebDAV/CalDAV is a plus.
