Job Responsibilities:
General Banking Officers will play a vital role in managing branch operations and ensuring customer satisfaction within the framework of Islamic banking principles. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing all branch operations, including KYC/AML compliance, to ensure efficient product processing and exceptional customer service.
- Upholding Sharia compliance in all transactions and tasks.
- Processing account openings within designated turnaround times and maintaining accurate records.
- Authorizing financial and non-financial transactions after thorough verification.
- Managing branch security protocols and ensuring timely opening and closing procedures.
- Balancing vaults, tokens, taxes, and other accounts while adhering to regulatory guidelines.
- Processing inward and outward clearing transactions and inter-branch transactions.
- Monitoring dormant accounts and communicating with customers as needed.
- Resolving customer queries and complaints promptly and efficiently.
- Managing branch budgets and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Maintaining all branch documentation and ensuring comprehensive record-keeping.
- Completing assigned tasks within specified timelines.
Additional Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of branch operations, general accounts, and State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) regulations.
