The Role:

The Events Coordinator will play a pivotal role in planning and executing engaging events that elevate HEC Paris in Qatar’s visibility and impact within the local business community. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Shaping the Event Strategy: Propose innovative event ideas and programs to drive engagement and participation.
  • Event Planning & Management: Coordinate the entire event lifecycle, from concept to execution and post-event evaluation.
  • Logistical Expertise: Manage venue bookings, speaker arrangements, create event materials, and oversee event operations.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, clients, and partners.
  • Data & Analytics: Prepare detailed event briefs and reports to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Budget Management: Contribute to budget planning and ensure cost-effective resource allocation.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing/Communications, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in events or project management
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration and cross-cultural interaction
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, database management, and analytical tools
  • Experience with CRM systems (ideally Salesforce) and virtual event platforms (ideally Zoom)
  • A keen eye for detail, problem-solving capacity, and a proactive approach
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; French and/or Arabic are a plus
  • Ability to work independently and manage pressure effectively
