Role Purpose
This role exists to design and scale enterprise applications across Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform. It supports Manulife’s shift toward governed automation and deep integration across Azure and key business systems. The engineer will advance pro-code solutions, strengthen compliance, and improve the performance of mission-critical tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, test, and deploy solutions using Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Pages, and Copilot Studio.
- Build model-driven apps and Dataverse solutions that meet enterprise-scale needs.
- Use Dynamics 365 and Power Platform capabilities to streamline and enhance user experiences.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and external services.
- Connect Power Platform solutions with Azure functions and logic apps.
- Implement responsive and user-centered interfaces.
- Mentor junior developers and build a supportive team culture.
- Guide coding practices and advise on emerging technologies.
- Work with clients and internal partners to gather requirements and scope solutions.

Required Skills
- Eight or more years in IT.
- Five or more years in Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Microsoft 365.
- Strong C#, ASP.NET, CSS, JavaScript, Python, T SQL, and PowerShell skills.
- Experience using GIT, PowerFX, and cloud native development patterns.
- Knowledge of Azure functions, storage, web applications, logic apps, key vault, service buses, and Identity Services.
- Experience with Graph, DevOps, and GitHub.
- Strong security mindset covering confidentiality, integrit,y and availability.
- Experience in DevOps development or operations.
- Background in cloud migration and modern engineering practices.
- Solid experience in performance, integration, and unit testing.
Experience and Education
- Minimum eight years of IT experience with a focus on enterprise applications.Â
- At least five years in Dynamics 365 and Power Platform environments.Â
- Large-scale enterprise experience is preferred but not required.
