The Role: A Leadership Position in E-Commerce Development

In this role, you will be the technical authority on all things e-commerce. You will not only handle complex development projects but also guide, review, and expand a team of skilled developers. This is a full-time, remote position with the option to work from our modern office in Kraków, Poland.

Your Profile: Key Qualifications

We are looking for a leader with a proven track record in both technical execution and team mentorship.

General Leadership & Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years of commercial development experience with a portfolio of delivered projects.

• At least 2 years of experience in a leadership capacity: leading a team, conducting technical interviews, and performing rigorous code reviews.

• A passion for clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

• Exceptional client-facing communication skills in English, with the confidence to lead online meetings and articulate technical concepts.

• A proactive mindset for continuous learning and self-improvement.

Technical Expertise – Front-End:

• Expert-level knowledge of modern HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and Responsive Web Design.

• Strong proficiency in at least one major JS framework/library (React.js is highly preferred).

• Mastery of scalable CSS architectures (BEM, ITCSS) and preprocessors (SCSS).

• A keen eye for UI/UX detail and the ability to translate complex designs into pixel-perfect, high-performance front-ends.

• Experience with Headless Commerce architectures is a significant advantage.

Core E-Commerce Platform Expertise:

• Shopify:

  • Extensive experience with the Shopify Plus platform.

  • Deep knowledge of Liquid templating.

  • Proficiency with Shopify CLI and Theme Kit.

  • Shopify certifications are a strong plus.

• BigCommerce:

  • Proven experience developing on the BigCommerce platform.

  • Hands-on experience with the Stencil CLI.

  • BigCommerce certifications are beneficial.

Location & Hours:

This is a remote position, ideal for candidates within a strong overlapping timeframe with Central European Time (CET). For those based in or near Kraków, Poland, our office in the vibrant Kazimierz district is available for hybrid work.
